Clay Preparation: Start by learning how to wedge and prepare your clay for the wheel.
Centering: Master the essential technique of centering clay on the wheel to ensure a solid foundation for your creation.
Throwing: Dive into shaping your piece, from forming cylinders to experimenting with bowls or other simple forms.
With hands-on guidance from our skilled instructors, you’ll build confidence in the fundamentals while creating your own unique piece to take home. We will turn a foot on your work, bisque fire, glaze and glaze fire. Whether you’re an aspiring potter or just curious to try something new, this class is the perfect introduction to the art of wheel throwing.
